Installing Flash on a work computer

Ok, at work, they put XP Pro on all the computers with IE6 and like Flash version 0.5 lol.

Anyhow, I put Firefox 3.5 on here and its great. Except, there's no Flash on it. I tried installing Flash, but it won't let me do it without admin privelages.

Weird that I can install Firefox, but not Flash. So is there any way to install Flash without admin privelageS?

Yeah I have to install Flash on FF seperately.

i tried installing it but it says successful but then when I go on FF it says I need to install it. Im not sure.. . . I got like the same conditions you have so I wanna figure this out too. lol

use IE when flash is needed.....

1. Download http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/xpi/current/flashplayer-win.xpi

2. Rename it as a .zip file.

3. Unzip the files.

4. Copy the files flashplayer.xpt and NPSWF32.dll to %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Plugins\

If you don't have a Plugins folder you can just create a folder with that name.

5. Restart Firefox

6. Done
