Installing DEH-3200 head unit (quick question)

After 2 hours of confusion and frustration, i cant get the thing to turn on... any pointers?

The yellow wires are crimped together.

The radio has one reddish/salmon but the car has three reds... one black stripe one gray and salmon.. tried all three with no success.

Fuse on head unit is good, fuses in car are good.
