when removing the factory radio?

is it bad to not unplug the battery and to leave it that way for over a week until the new deck is installed?

cause thats what i did lol

you should discon the batt whenever you are making changes to your vehicle that involve the electrical.

That being said I did exactly what you did with no problems whatsoever. Discon'd my old deck and ran for awhile without a deck, its not going to hurt anything.
