Installing components. quick question

I'll be getting my new components soon. Diamond audio d661s.

going to be my first install by myself.

They'll be running from an orion 3002 amp.

so basically, all I do is get an amp wiring kit, (im going to get one for 2 amps since they come with that power split), take out my HU, plug my RCAS in the slots designated for the fronts, run it through my car, hook it up to my amp, then run speaker wire through my car, and wire the speakers to my amp.

now if im going to be running dual amps, I know how to deal with the ground and the power wire, but what abou the little blue wire?

do i connect it with the sub amp where its wired to the HU?

If you are referring to the remote wire, than you can just piggyback the wires. (run into the sub amp than run another wire from the sub amp to the mids/highs amp) or you can just splice it and run separate wires into each amp

what do i do with the old speaker wires? Theyre the stock wires.

leave them there, don't cut them etc so when you get rid of the car you don't have to do a bunch of crap to return it to stock

now... one of the simpler questions.

I have a ford escort with a football kit so the HU can slide in. How do I slide the HU out..? do i just sorta pull it.. orrr...?
