installing a new headunit help

ok heres the deal my oem unit right now has a L6 line converter for my amp,i want to install an aftermarket navi unit but i have no RCA imput unless i locate the converter itself.the question is can i just get a wire harness and connect it to the oem wire without any consequences i know the headunit had 20x4 internal power would that interfere with the external amp?

A wiring harness will not give you an RCA output if thats what your askin

my headunit has RCA outputs my question is the headunit power amp is going be fed into the aftermarket amplifier if i do this
