how hard is it, has anyone done one?? just got off the phone with my stinger rep, he said it's a pain in the *** but can be done, gotta suposidly remove wheel, brakes, axle. and there it is... i know i can do it with no problem, i have the tool's and a lift at my shop... just want to get ur opinion..

anyone?

I will know in a while as I have a 1995 Integra GS-R and will be installing a HO alt once I receive it. If your car is not a GSR then it should be much easier as the intake manifold in the non GSRs does not stick out as much. I think it will be a pain for the GSR but an LS, GS should be pretty easy.

I've got a 99' ex coupe. Single overhead 1.6 and my buddy has a 99' Integra with the ls. Theyre the exact same engine bay nearly and I'm debating whether I want to even mess with a high powered system in this car again because I don't want to have to get to that dang alt. The rep was right lol, the wheel, brakes and axles are the ONLY things in your way. I have the tools to do it, it's a tedious job though for sure.

im ready and willing to do it... just due to thae fact the amp i want will draw 250+ amp's... and i dont want to put it in and have major voltage issues

Seth, why didn't you just call me? You have to remove the driver side CV joint to access the alt. Yours won't be as bad because you have an LS. All I can say is have fun. I've already done mine.
