Installing a 4 channel amp with one sub

My mistake. I completely missed where you mentioned the model //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You'd wire it that way if you have a mono block amp. As the previous poster said, you could bridge channel 1&2 and 3&4 and run each voice coil on one. It would be neg to neg, pos to pos. But I don't recommend it.

If you do, make sure you keep both gains equal, set them both to LP and turn the Bass EQ all the way down (off). It'll only work on channel 3&4 which will effectively give the VC bridged on 3&4 more power than 1&2 and that's not good for the sub.

Oh, and since you have a D4 it would work with the amp you mentioned. As I said, I prefer a little more headroom on my amp and would look for something that could do 400RMS @ 2 ohms.

Ah, thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. Are there any amps like that that you would recommend? Preferably no more expensive than 150 bucks (used or new)?

I'm not well versed enough in amps to really make a good opinion. Check out the amp section and see the amps people talk about the most. Look for one that can do 300 or 400 @ 2 ohm. You can go with 300 with a good name brand because you can trust it can put out 300.

Off the top of my head, some good brands are Kicker, Alpine, JL, Sundown.
