installing 8's in the doors

dont need annoying haters like you lurking around putting down my plans anyways honestly. sorry im not like you mr. know it all and i dont have the best ideas in the world like yourself sir, but when it works and sounds decent you can kiss my ***.
They're not haters because their trying to help you. These guys know what they're talking about, and you're only setting yourself up for disappointment. It's a very creative and intresting thought, but mixing different size subwoofers is a "no no" in this forum. Honestly, it's the same exact concept as this:

and the replys to that tell the story.

The subwoofers in the rear will pick up the low ends, and the frequencies they miss, the midbass drivers will make up for. In addition to a good component set and that's all you'll ever need. 3-way front stage + 2 s12L7 subwoofers = you happy

2 s12L7 + 2 s8L5 = you unhappy because they sound bad, and you didn't our word for it.

i would just get a pair of 8" midbasses (kicker SSMB8 for example)

that will actually sound good and is about half the depth of the l5's

but hey it is your car so do what you want.
