installing 1 12 and 2 10s

i currently have an 07 avalanche . I have 2 10s mounted under rear seat at 2 ohms , There is very liitle space and wasnt to pleased with sound, So im currently getting a custom console with a 12w6v2 downfiring . It wll be wired at 2 ohm. My memphis amp does 300@ 4ohm 600@2ohm, and 1100@1ohm. I was gonna take the 2 10s out when it was done, then thought why not leave them They give a me a real tight bass , and still hook up the 12w6 also and run them and them with the 12 @ 1ohm . Would there be anything wrong with doing this?

the original cotjones is actually coming around and getting a single 18 xxx, so we cant mouth him about his 3 10 and one 13 in. anymore.

It is not the best idea to run different sized subs together.

if you want to make it work, you need to cross them over at different points, ex., 12 from 50hz and below, 10's 50-80hz. otherwise, sound waves will cancel each other.

thanks, thats what i thought. I asked the shop building the box about that and mentioned the cancallation and he se it would be alright , and another installer that was gonna build it at first is the one that mentioned keeping them in . I questioned it , but thought i would post to be sure.
