Installation Possibility - Car Video in Home?

Would it be possible to install the Alpine PKG-RSE2 (over head dvd/lcd) in a home - under the kitchen cabinets?

I know there are products designed for the home, but in my recent research have not found very many quality products out there. So was getting creative to see if I can install a car product in the home.

1. I'm not a technical guy - so will have to hire someone to do this, but wanted to see the possibility of doing this before making any phone calls.

2. I assume you need some type of power convertor to change from 120V to whatever this product uses

3. Is it possible to input my DirecTV cables into this so the wife can watch TV in the kitchen?

Thanks!

Joe

yes and you would require a 12 volt power supply

you can plug whatever you want that has video outputs into it

but you would need external speakers as it does not have any built in speakers but it does have a set of audio outputs

black (me) has the possibilities.

power regulator. and i can sell it to you.

i hooked my flip up dvd player to it once. and i had 2 kicker comps on it before too.

it works teh nice. pm me for details.
