instalation certification???

i believe its called mecp certification? anybody know if there are any internet courses? or if its a good idea to take an internet course? because i live in hawaii and dont think there are any places to get certified here in hawaii. just something i wanted to look into but dont know anything about. or if anybody knows any other type of classes that would help int the installion buissiness? i know how to install but wanted to make a career out of it and most car audio shops prefer a certified person for the job. any info is greatly appreciated.

You get a library or other MECP certified installer to oversee, or proctor the exam for you.

get the MECP book read it, learn it, take the test. If they dont offer it down there throw a fit.
