i do too, once i actually fall asleep, and if i was tired enough to begin with!

if you're familiar with the circadian rhythm theory (and yes i say "theory" on purpose), mine is about ~30 hours

I can't fall asleep, and sleep very lightly most of the time. It sucks. That's why I'm on here at 2 something in the morning.

I wish I could go with only a few hours of sleep. My body just fails if I don't get much sleep. I can stay awake, I just fail at thinking.

I still only average 5 or 6 hours a day (sometimes MUCH less). The military will do that to you. Generally when I put my head down to sleep (when I am in a normal routine) I fall asleep fairly quickly.

I wish I slept better. I might be ranting, but I can't fall asleep, don't sleep very well, and am drowsy when I get up and stay sleepy most of the day. It sucks.

A lot of people attribute it to discipline. Somebody once said to me, "If you joined the military, you'd be just fine." If I had the honor of being able to join the military, I'd be kicked out in a couple weeks -- not for a lack of effort or patriotism, but of physical and emotional fatigue.

Ya, I would fail epically in the army. I can lay in bed and take sleeping meds, but my body/mind only falls asleep when it wants to.

yup same here; the brain is sometimes a force not to be reckoned with

I dont sleep. explains why Im on every forum at 6am. I usually dont sleep very much

Oh, I sleep, but it winds up being in the middle of the day.
