So my buddy talked to him and went to meet up with him to get the 3 9512's for $400 and he shows up and takes them out of the box and they are the 500 series

We we really hopin to get these as this would have been a steel bummer

I figured he had no clue what he had so when he said digital dimensions I just went a long with it. I was like I have 6 digital dimensions.

I like how he changed the ad to state the correct model type after you told him, not. Plus, the 9500 series sells for $700 each (as he claims), not the 500 series. I think its pretty obvious he is intentionally trying to scam someone. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he not only knows they aren't 9500's, he also knows "digital designs" but is intentionally playing stupid 1) so someone will give him the cash and dash quickly without checking the subs because they think THEY are the ones making off with a good deal, and 2) so he can claim ignorance once the 'scam' of model switching is realized by the purchaser.
