Input voltage on jl audio slash

If I change the input voltage from low to high on my amp should I raise the gains? I have a helix dsp . It sends out more than 2v so my input should be set on high. After I put it on high my volume was a lot lower

You need to use a dmm to set gain after any component change. Dont guess and burn your sh1t up.
