Anyone who doesn't like Pride better than UFC doesn't know anything about MMA fighting. Pride is nothing like a "street fight". It has the highest calibre fighters on the planet, with the biggest show and the most money. It's a cut above the UFC, KOTC, MFC etc, in every possible way.

Thanks for the info, I just wish Pride came on tv for free like UFC, ive just never been exposed to it, I will be sure to order the next ppv. It seems like teh best fighters would go to UFC though becasue thats where all the bank is.

Up until recently the UFC paid very poorly, and a few years before the reality TV show came about it had dropped down below King of the Cage in terms of fighter calibre. Pride shows have massive draws in Japan and have higher prize money. Subsequently the best fighters attend their shows. There are some that go in between organizations, like Chuck Lidell, Guy Mezger, in the past Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort, etc.

Remember people...just because you've seen every episode of Ultimate Fighter doesn't make you a MMA expert.
