first off, does hollywood digital have a website?

ok, i was wondering what kind of box i should put them in. I want spl more than sq, but sq is important too. so in which box would i get the most spl?sq?both?

going to be running two off of a jbl bp 1200.1.

all help is appreciated.

thanks,

matt

This is thier site- however, it is not live yet. These come from the same manufacturer as did the Hollywood Excursion Subwoofers. Well I have not been able to locate any aditional specs as of yet for the Digitals; I have used the Excursions Quite a bit. They seem to perform best in a sealed enclosure- approx. 1.3ft^3 for the 12's. They are highly sensitive and have a great response. Primarily for SPL applications- so the SQ does suffer a little, but they are still fairly accurate and musical. I believe it a safe speculation to assume the Digitals would be an improvement of the Excursion Design.

Either way, your Amp should make the subs quite happy.

Dont you think I am a little biased on that one??? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

That aside, I would choose the Alchemys firstly anyway. They have been exceptional performers thus far.

Well, big setback.....

My Engine Blew.

No stereo this year, replacing the engine and then will continue with the same plans.

At least I have the Alchemy's to drop in yet- however, the rest will unfortunately have to wait. No comps this year for me now either.

grrrrrrrr:mad:

man, that stinks. how did you blow the engine? are you going to try to get a 5.0 mustang engine to put in it or get another V6? NO STEREO? hmm, makes sense. you won't be too cool just sitting in your driveway listening to your stereo all the time. lol

matt

no cast basket lil less xmax lil more effiecant (L5) since im not running a terribly huge amp i figured wtf if i cant truely push an L7 they would prolly sound like L5's anyway o yea no goofy coloered cone either but since i never bent a basket or ran my woofers so hard to get cone pop i dont really see an advantage to the L7. people say the hit harder but i also owned a pair of soundstream spl 160's pushed to the max and got whooped by a set of spl 15's .............moral of the story bigger woofer isnt always better..team stream also noticed as they didnt run 160's either lol

Well, more so what the previous idiot-- err, owner neglected to do... regular maintenance. 19 years without any maintenance on a car is baaaad. Not to mention, the car was heavily abused most of its life. I tried working my magic on it the best I could, however, as it turned out- the car was too heavily damaged to begin with. It orignially had a 302, and it is being replaced with a custom built engine- starting from the ground up. All Ford Motorsport SVT parts, .30 over, Injected- etc etc etc.

Kinda throws a kink into my audio plans, however, priorities are priorities.......

see even if i was a millionare (fat chance im a nice guy we finish last) i wouldnt go to hi po im a cheap skate at the pump and id prolly still drive a economy car of sorts lol just gimme my audio and i might put a set of american racing wheels on it lolol in car video is also lame!!!!! if i had it id get busted for cranking terminator 2 fight scenes lol (gas was number 1 reason i sold my firebird lol)

The Original 302 was a pain at the pump......

I dont even want to think about how the new one will be..........

Half the time I could swear that I am dumping gas in the back seat the way it is!

**Oh joy**
