my silence is deadly...
anybody know how many spiders a 1508 has?
i just had a talk with dave at dd about a bandpass box for a 1508. they dont recomend a 4th order but do recomend an 8th order.
he said the 1508 has too much suspencion to work right in a 4th order, that it has 6 spiders
mg: i would never have guessed that in a million years and due to that the sub wont move to much due to the sealed rear champer adding to the suspencion.
i think i may try a 4th order anyways and just make the sealed protion on the large size and just throw a good solid and clean 1k to it. i have an 8th order design that he gave me but its quite large so i think i will try for a 4th order. any input on a 4th order design would be great.
