info about 10" fi q

I'd say a 1 to 1.5 cubes tuned from 28-32 hz.

i assume you have tried it? why i started this thread is bc i have a box that is around 0,95cuft big with an external 4" aero with flares, and i have ordered a dd2510, but many says that the box is too small, so i search a sub that like smaller volumes, sub amp is DD ss1a, and the car is really small!

A DD 2510 would want like 1.5 cubes.

You could probably do the Fi Q in that box, but a bigger box is going to be louder and sound better.

for a dd 2510 im sure 1cu/ft is too small. it might sound good but the sub will have more potential than that. Why not step down in sub size? only thing you can really do in a "small" situation. or go sealed, try both subs sealed in the max space you have and see what you like best, although DD does not recommend sealed, i think its the lack of efficieny why they say that but im just guessing.

yeah i will try a sa-8 too.. but i really wanted a 10" i dont need superb sq, and i will tune it around 40-45hz so it will make some dbz on the meter too.. we have a class here that have 750watt max and a single 10" or two 8" subs.. so i think a single 10" would be a great combo with my ss1a..

dont kno how the sub will respond with that. i had a similar box and i didnt like it at all, missed too many lower bass notes, but if it's for spl, wouldn't hurt to try. might be really loud.
