infinity kappa vs. infinity perfect

Hey everyone, i have a quick question regarding the differences of these two. I currently have the infinity kappa 120.3dvc. It is no longer made as of last year or so. It has the CMMD cone, which seems similar to the new perfect VQ. Anyway, i am looking at the perfect 12.1D, and i was wondering if it is much if any better than what i have. I have heard a lot about the perfects, but not much about the kappas. Anyone have any info???

I'd get something else if you're looking for a step up... I had 2 12" perfects for a while... I'd definately say they're good subs for beginners.... but I wouldn't waste the money just to jump for kappa to perfect...

Yea, I've blown them left and right.... I give them a meh rating. Nice sounds, but meh.

Depends on waht youre looking to do, better SQ or more SPL.

I have read lots of good things about infinity on here and sounddomain. Especially the perfects.

Ive owned a Perfect before...decent SQ but not extreme like I wanted.

I never said they were crap, I said they were good... for beginners.

HOnestly if you are going to upgrade you might as well make a big jump... instead of taking baby steps. (Which IMO that is what going from kappas to perfects would be)
