Will this go well toghether? pertty much decieded to order a x400.1 amp but I was original going to use it with PG xenon sub or a PG ZR sub.

In the specs for Perfect 12.1 it says that its max handling are 350 rms, but the Xenon amp puts out 400 rms if I understand, but do you think it will go without overpowering it anyway? and the final question, is the Perfect 12.1 sub a good bang for the bucks, its cost 99$...

sounds like a solid SQ system. just watch the gains a little on the amp, and you should be fine. Infinities dont really like overpowering.

does the Xenon have a subsonic filter?
Yes!

It should sound good. What kind of mids do you have up front. If they have stong midbass, then the xenons might be better for you, but if you dont , then dont even bother. Imo the zr's are bit better than the perfect, being a formal owner of both, but the perfect is a great sounding sub none the less.

I have also planned to use it in a sealed box, heard that its best that way. and take less space aswell. Infinitys recomendation are a box of 1.0 cu. ft. (EU mes: 28L).

I will use it in a opel astra coupe model, I am not sure yet how I will place it in the car, my idea for space saving were to take out the floor in the bagage and make something in that space and point the sub streight up, but I am not sure yet.

What do you think about this?

I had Perfect 10.1 single 4 ohm and had 800 rms on it in a .5cuft sealed and I did just fine. Power won't kill that sub, but ignorance will //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I think you have a pretty tasty combo going there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

And, yes, if you look around you can find a better sub - or should I say a higher quality sub - for $100-$125 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Defenitely a nice system you have there. the perfect will take the 400 watts just fine. I had 500 watts on mine & it took it like a champ. You might want to consider the vq perfect if you want a little more powerhandling. They are rated @ 400 watts rms.
