The model tweeters in that set are the 10.9t.

I am on my second set and this is the second time one has quit working..

Don't know why they keep dying they are not getting wet and I have almost no bass going to the speakers. Do they just **** or am I doing it wrong?

My wife has the same Kappa's without issues. Please check gains and wire connections.

your wife's listening habits and the OP's are quite different, i'm assuming. The Kappa's are known for issues with their tweeters. It may simply be the small capacitor on the tweeter, and not the driver itself. I don't recommend or use Kappa speakers, so I haven't been able to test one personally to verify if it's the cap or the driver.
