Infinity and Alpine

I have a 15" Alpine Type-r single 4 ohm voice coil. I want to feed it more power.

I also have a Infinity 1600a amp which can give out 600rms @ 2ohm (running at 400rms @ 4ohm).

I googled but couldn't find a situation like mine so help me out car audio community! Is it possible to bridge this setup to 2 ohm?

yea, add another 4 ohm svc type "R" ....

but then you will be woefully underpowered .....

or trade your svc sub for a 4 ohm dvc

Was hoping this wasn't the case and somebody would be able to offer a miracle on how to get a 4ohm svc to magically be a 2ohm svc baha

or trade your amp for one that makes it's power at 4 ohms ... those are your options basically ...

You can also sell your sub and buy DVC 4 ohm or DVC 1 ohm.
