Infinity 693.9i Home Speaker Build...

Hello all,

Well I've been on a home audio binge for a while now. In an effort to get back into the car audio swing of things I bought two pairs of Infinty Kappa 693.9i 6x9s, a Helix Dark Blue 5 and already have an Ultra Audio PRM-12 for the sub channel. After a bit more research I've decided to go with an active setup using partexpress.com drivers (as the Dark Blue 5 has band pass crossovers) and have no car audio use for these 6x9s.

I figured I could use them for home audio purposes. I sent an email to Infinity to get recommended enclosures or T/S specs but I'm not likely to get an email with substance back from them...so I started on this project alone. I plan on running two of them in series on either side...I tested the resting ohm load tonight and in series 2 of them measured 4.7 ohms...no problem for a good receiver (Like a Marantz SR-7200). I plan on building an enclosure for each pair with a net internal volume of 1.04 ft3 and filling it with poly fill from parts express; 1lb for each enclosure.

Any suggestions on enclosure volume or anything else would be greatly appreciated!
