I understand where people with smaller four doors decide to skip upgrading the rear speakers but being that my QX56 is such a large SUV any thoughts about upgrading the rear speakers?

Going with a pair of Hertz HSK165's for the front. Since I'm going with an Arc Audio KS300.4 should I upgrade the speakers in the rear doors to a pair of HSK165's as well?

no. Even in a bigger car that just meanst the speakers are that much futher away from you and you'll hear them even less. Unless you really care what your passengers hear it's a waste. Spend the money you would have spent on a second set with a better set of mids, deading, a new hu, bigger amp, whatever..

I disagree, I had a large SUV a few years ago and had rear fill with a low end set of coax, (Boston Pro60's up front running off a Zapco) and with the rear fill it sounded better.
