Infinite Baffle

Hey guys,

I'm looking to do an infinite baffle install with two 6.5" subwoofers in my 02 stratus. I don't know of many 6.5" woofers to choose from besides the 7kv.2. I'm on a tight budget also. I'm going for mainly sq obviously. I would like to maintain as much trunk room as possible so i'm thinking about mounting them in the rear deck.

I have a kicker zx750.1 for power so I can turn the gains down if need be.

What do you guys suggest?

Tang Band, JL, CDT, and a few others make 6.5" subs. Most of them want a small (and I do mean tiny) enclosure rather than an IB setup. You could also use a pair of 8's IB firing through the 6x9 openings in your rear deck. Just make an adapter ring and bottom mount them.

Alright, that would be fine. What are some quality 8" subs that would work well IB? I have a good amount of power to work with.

I guess I could just go Infinite Baffle with a single 15" and not worry about using the rear deck. Maybe a MAW-15?

also I hear Scott at FI can modify the Q to be IB, read it on some home theater forums

Image Dynamics says all their subs work well IB. I'm using 2 ID8v3's in my rear deck. They're around $100 each. If you do mount them in the rear deck make sure your trunk is well sealed from the cabin.

I think i'm going to go with some good 8"s in my rear deck. It seems like the cheapest pair I can find are ed 9kv.2's. Any other suggestions?
