would a Indash dvd/tv fit in a ford windstar while "IN motion" meaning the shifter isnt in the way when the screen folds out? i want to replace what i have with any indash really, just i dont want to get it and when it folds out it hits the shifter and it mess's up thanks

i have a dodge caravan which has a similar shifter to your ford. my in dash doesnt even come close to touching it

Mine would hit the shifter if I tried to open it with my truck in park. It does not, however, come close to the shifter when in any other gear. It's no big deal really, you just gotta remember not to hit "Open" before you shift.

i got my frieds dad to bend it back 1 1/12 back and it works so i will be getting a screen soon

I had a kenwood kvt-915dvd and it could go out so far or come in cloe, that would be an option.
