i just got my hifonics bxi2006d today and installed it and hooked it up to my 15mt, well i double checked all the connections but nothing seems to work, the speaker is getting a signal but it dont move nearly at all, when i ****ed with the gain nob and phase and bass eq nob the speaker had an extremely hard hitting tone, not with the music, ne suggestions?

first....dont just start f ucking with the gain, bass and phase knobs,switches....set the gains properly via the method on the forum, and put your bass boost at 0....check your rcas,check your ground, what kind of HU are you using

are the rcas hooked up to the subout in the back of the deck

yea, and i didnt **** with the knobs until i realized i didnt know what the **** to do...i had the gains set properly, and yea the rcas are hooked up to the back of my HU, i got a pioneer, not sure of the model though, its not a very common one, it has a steering wheel remote

checked the HU rcas and still the same, its not playin like it should at all, like its getting 100 watts, but its going with the music, ne ideas?

no idea, when i first hooked it up i kept the gain all the way down, then slowly turned it up and got no difference in output at all no matter how high the gain was. its like the gain isnt working on the amp because when i put the loudness on from my headunit, the speaker does get louder.

ok so i took out my box, and in my spare tire area is a shitload of water that mustve been sitting there for like 3-4 weeks, my speaker wires from the mt have been down in there for this time, do u think this has nething to do with it? by the way the gain is working, there is just not nearly enough output

took out the sub and checked its wiring, perfect at 1 ohm, everything is perfectly hooked up, the amp just wont push the speaker like it should, its only pushing it like with 100 watts or so, could it be something with my HU?
