In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Yep, that's how I have it hooked up. The port area on this box might be too small for the rs, although a similar one is in my friend's truck with zero port noise. The amp is good, but just get a ep2500. Worst decision I've ever made was to not bite the bullet so I can have the extra power on tap in case I need it.

So staying with my box design of 4.5cubes 30hz 60sq. in. you think I'll get the same kinda output that you got with your design if I decide to get these subs to try before I buy the type R's?

So when you answered Yes in your last post, was that to my question if you think these subs will compare to a couple or type r's? Or about the EP1500 amp?

Thanks for your input in advance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm making another box, but this time for a couple of 12" Type R's. I may pick up a couple of these [MAW-12] subs and see how they sound and if I like them maybee keep them instead of buying 2 Type R's. Whatcha think PV, they gonna compare to the 12" R's. Tha amp is a BXi1606D.
How would they sound in this box, since I kinda had my mind set on building this allready?...

How do you like your Behringer Europower EP1500 1400watt @ 4ohm amp?

They are going on ebay for around $200, seems like a good deal So do you have the recievers subwoofer out being inputed to the amp?....

In this application, I can't say which would be louder. Most likely the r's, but the Mach's are literally around 1/4 the price.

Ours must have been damaged in transit...or the stars were out of alignment that day, or something...
Good to hear they're working out for you though.
They're great, you should try some in the Tulip van //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

So PV how do the subs sound, you still like em as much as the first time you heard them? Have you installed them in anyones car or truck yet?
In fact, they are getting better. I'm not one to believe in break-in, but these guys somehow have gotten more musical. If you aren't a hi-fi guy, you probably wouldn't notice, but since I'm all about the sleeper setup (great sq, but will still collapse your diaphragm), I find them to be still excellent.

how low was it?
Let's just say that I've never seen the steering column in a car move before from Hoods Run Down. I'm not saying that because I made the box, in fact, I'd sold it to a kid in town and he was saying this was happening about 2 months later. He wasn't shitting.

hey PV...did you buy them direct from Mach5? because when i was looking to see how much it would cost me to get some it was raping me up the ***...lol
Yep, direct from those Canucks. They have UPS shipping now, so it's bearable.

After all that and you pull a PV Audio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
