IN dash Video??

I got a 2005 silverado crew cab, i want to get a double din touch screen but i don't really want to pay an arm and a leg. I was on ebay and seen some by pyle and i was talking to a guy at a local shop and he was like "don't go with pyle" I am just wondering how bad could they be. My friend just got a kenwood touch screen and i like it, seen one on ebay for about 900.00.

Any body got any insight on pyle? or a site i can get a good unit at a good price?

Kinda nice that you can view raw data like mpegs and jpegs.

ugly menus/buttons.

cant tell the screen quality from videos..

prolly has no eq.. does it got 3 sets of preouts?

shitty knockoff from japan...

So are there any goo quality brands out there that have cheap prices. I am in the same boat MikeMed21 is in on hu's. I really dont want to spend over 500 byt the only ones I can get under that are stollen. Are there any refurb's floating around anywhere?

Word is that Eclipse will be better on quality and sound, but are more expensive than the Kenwoods. The newest kenwoods increased their preout voltage I think and added more SRS features, so sound may have gotten better. Eclipse also has an awesome warranty if you get it from an authorized dealer and have them install it. They give you a 3 year warranty and replace it if it gets stolen.....unbeatable! but you will see it in the price. In the end, it all comes down to your preference.
