I recently ordered a kit for my pioneer single din in-dash. The in-dash fits the kit but is too deep because in my silverado there is a metal pipe running through. My question is where can i get an in-dash kit that will tilt the in-dash upwards slightly so i am able to plug in all the wiring, because the metal pipe blocks all room from plugging anything in.

shouldnt have problems ..what brand kit
its a metra kit. and it fits its just the in-dash itself goes deep and theres a big pipe, itll fit if i dont plug it in. but i cant fit any RCAs, USB cables, the Harness, etc. in because theres literally like a 1/4 inch of space between the pipe and back of the in-dash.

also cdc351jeferson are you referring to the harness to the in-dash?

Here is 2 pics i took upon install, you cant see the pipe in the first one because i already put the kit in, but i trimmed it and cut it to fit it in upside down so the in-dash would be below the pipe. im looking for a kit that will put it back up top but maybe angle it low in the dash so it goes below the pipe and its still a clean install

that was diff than mine i guess mine was a 08 but looks like yours is the more facy model i didnt have a problem fitting my double din in there didnt have that bar . sorry thougth they were more similar than that . seems my radio was higher up and my ac vents were on the sides not above

What he means is he needs a kit that will place the deck where it is now but fit correctly with the trim. The metal pipe which I am assuming is a support piece for the dash makes it impossible to use all of the rca ports and have the deck fit.

He had a double din dvd player but it looking for better SQ so he put in the Pioneer DEH-80PRS, the double din have the rcas on the bottom of there back which is out of the way of the pipe.

Kinda gives you an idea, except all that backing stuff has already been removed from his truck exposing a metal pipe that is in the way. What we need is a dash kit that lowers the deck to the location it is in now and fit correctly.
