in dash dvd parking break bypass

right now im helping a buddy of mine install a pioneer avh-p3100dvd touchscreen in his 2004 f-150 we only need to wire up the green parking break wire, however we just wanna bypass it, how would we go about doing so?

For my clarion all I had to do was wire it to a toggle switch, then the other side to ground. When you want to watch a dvd just flip it twice so it pulses ground...worked every time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If it is the same as the 4000. put a "on/off" toggle switch inline and flip the switch 3 times then it works. Repeat every time you put it in drive.

brake wire->toggleswitch->ground

that simple.

I didn't even toggle switch it. Just put the wire straight to a ground and whenever you put the dvd in it plays fine.
