Improving spl response

Hey guys, this seemed to be the best place to post this. I got a BOAT of a Bonneville with 2 kickers in a sealed 3.0244 ft3 enclosure in the back. And after getting many comments on how hard they hit, Im kindof disappointed in the bass response in the car. This is mostly because the car is such a boat and the back seat cannot be flipped down conveniently. Do you guys have any ideas on what I could do to get a little more out of it?

Run a ported enclosure instead of a sealed enclosure.

What Kickers specifically do you have?

Actually out by waverly and lincoln but i goto omaha sometimes.

i'd like to hear it. look around and see what your options are. i'm not that advanced though.

i would go wit 2cf a piece for the subs and tune to 30hz, that should hit lows pretty good, but if you want spl i'd tune a lil higher like 35 or so...

Nah go for about 2.25 and tune to 34-35
