It was a decent time. A great turn out, too.

I agree, kind of a sausage fest. But as Seth stated, first year they've done this, and for a first time event, I think it went rather well.

I saw the red EG flying up I-15 on the way up to the meet and it has to be one of my favorites. I dig that TL, too. I'm not a Honda fan, by any means, but both of those were pretty decent. The Datsun was sick as hell, as well.

A lot of cars came out of the woodwork. Living downtown, I don't see a whole lot of decent cars that aren't stock. I see the Maseratti and Bentley every once in a while, then have to stop and clean up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It's not their thing, is what I'd assume.

There's a couple traditional hot rod clubs out here. The Unlucky Ones and The Throttlers are two that come immediately to mind.

Most import guys maybe just want to bolt stuff on and goez fassst instead of full on building, cutting, welding, and learning.

Been there, done that. Sold my 95 body dropped, bagged fullsize GMC because I couldn't afford to finish it and pay for the ex bee. Ironically enough, I sold my 91 sonoma after I bought the xB. Sonoma was my daily driver. Shaved, flat black, etc. Kid who bought it lives up in Clearfield area.
