Obviously it's more than just a few people that think the classifieds should be split. Sorry to break it to you, but your opinion doesn't mean shit compared to the majority so if you don't like it, just click that little "X" in the corner and don't come back.

DB, Drama, Savage, NG, & Squeak all had there time and all went off the deepend in the end, this place is better off with them not being mods.

So a few of the people that jumped ship while you've been "improving" things on this site, come over from the site they've been frequenting instead (because it was having temporary problems), start bitching about the layout, and you fold? Just like that? Weaksauce.  

Why not leave well enough alone? You've had the opportunity to reference CACO's template for some time and never made mention of changing things on your own accord. Should any of us just start a poll thread everytime we want something from you, that way you can see your pretty new graphics in action? Every time you make an "improvement", long-time members drop off and you get a flood of amateurs chiming in trying to "help" each other. I've been here the whole time watching it happen and you should be embarrassed. Don't you miss the userbase you had, even when the blackouts were nearly unbearable? I do. The ratio of bots to real members was much better, that's for sure. Change can be a great thing when necessary but familiarity is what keeps people around. Are you picking up what I'm laying down?

Since you feel the need to cater to your new and improved userbase, you might as well lump speakers and subwoofers together. Otherwise, it's like saying vehicles and Toyotas. A subwoofer is a speaker. Actually, I prefer the term drivers, or transducers, but we need to keep things simple for the mass of newbsauce we now have. A category for things that send signals, things that amplify signals, things that produce soundwaves, things that connect and feed it all, and all the rest. So like Bob Saget said above;

Electrical

Miscellaneous

Bollucks. Bring back DBFan187, Johnny Drama, Randy Savage, ngsm13, Squeak(?), whoeverthefuckelse, and revive this dying pile. They weren't even nice to me most of the time but I came back everyday to see what was next. Now I nod off when browsing the place because it's a better option than spoon-feeding lazy children who can't figure out how to use Google. Barely a stimulating audio conversation floats by, any longer. Hard to believe I've been able to sell anything since the changeover, truthfully.

Serously, you need to relax. Those people are obvously not mods any longer for a reason. I suppose if you prefer to have mods that ban people for no reason, post pornographic images on the forum, and have a general negative attitude then they should come back.

Been is the past tense of being. So it stands to reason that you wouldn't usually use them in the same sentence, right next to each other. Anyhow, I'd like to feel better about knowing that these plans were in motion before the whole mess with CACO, but for all outward appearances, it seems like Goob just now took notice of all the newbs crying out for sectioned classifieds. It's a logical conclusion to draw. Either way, I don't agree with it and I'm entitled to my opinion. Minority, or not.
Speakers can be considered either electro-mechanical or electro-acoustical devices that convert current into air pressure. Therefore a transducer. How you equated transducers to marine use has escaped me. Granted, there are underwater speakers, but the scope of transducers is not limited to speakers or marine use, so....

I'm not truly worked up like I'm coming off, a lot of what I said was for effect. I realize that those mods were not perfect but tell me that Squeak wasn't an asset to this site. Like I said, they were not very nice much of the time, but they were usually interesting and humorous. In fact, I remember you messing with me on occasion. I doubt that you were singling me out, you were just reacting. Whatever, doesn't matter. I rarely chime in on topics like these but this whole classifieds thing just feels forced and unnecessary. If the classifieds format has been good enough for this long, why change it now? If I wanted that layout, I would use that site instead of this one. Perhaps my join date has left me with an inaccurate perspective of what to expect from this site but it's what I knew and liked. Apparently I'm not alone, as many have abandoned this site altogether (I realize that might be for the better in some cases). At least I hung around to see what was next. To answer your question about marine use: While there are many uses for transducers, In my experience I have found them primarily used in Marine Fish finders and Depth Sounders.

FYI, there is a difference in voicing your opinion and being an ***.

If I truly wanted to be an ***, I would tell you that I think you're an idiot and you need to refresh your memory as to what the overall definition of a transducer is so that you can free yourself of the limited association with marine location devices. And because I think you're a hypocrite for acting the way you did when all the shenanigans were going on, but now you're all righteous. But that's not what I did because that's not how I feel, I simply tried to reason with you and explain where I'm coming from. But since you don't agree with me, you resort to calling me an ***.
