Yeah, and this one time I drove a 57 Chevy that I got for $3 and then I compared it to the new Bentley. Wow, that 57 sucked!
I'm not defending ultra-cheap cables that are made by blind monkeys. I'm saying that if you spend the money on anything other than Monster's lowest line of cables, you've wasted your money. The key is in the connection, not the cable. If the connectors aren't very tight, they won't transfer the signal cleanly. Also, to a lesser degree, insulation of the wire can make a difference, but this is only really a problem with the ultra-cheap generic cables you can get for less than a bottle of water.
