Someone already beat me with a flathead thread by a few hours.

Congrats on that stud. Never heard of anyone using carp as bait for them. We use goldfish/bream.

caught my biggest last year.. 36lbs out of the ohio river, so as you can guess he was catch and release.. its rained so much this year we havent been able to river fish yet.. you catch him out of a pay lake or where?

thx man, i caught him at lower Roosevelt lake in Arizona, he draged the boat with the anchor in the water about 30 feet!

Its amazing at the power those things have.

The one I posted literally just layed down in the middle of the spillway in SWIFT water for about 7-8 minutes. Put pressure on him, he would pull the drag a bit, and just sat there. It was crazy. When he decided to go downstream he did so in a hurry.
