if you take a 2 ohm amp and hook it up to 2 1 ohm subs will it be pushing one ohm to each sub or remain at 2 ohms to both subs? im new to the whole 1 ohm thing and crazy systems always just had big brand systems put in by audio shops but dont live near any now so im trying to build my system and everything my self

One does not simply..... push ohms.

This will help.

You can't select 1 ohm, but you can select 2 ohm single voice coils and devide the end impedence by 2.

You can either wire them for 2 ohm total or 1/2 ohm.

That single voice coils.

ok i was just wondering because my fi bls are dual 1 ohm voice coils so was trying to figure out how to power them at the 1 ohm rating and stuff like i said im new to all this lol

If you have two dual 1 ohm subs, you can wire them in series for a 1 ohm load.
