Hes hooking me up with the setup I want.

His job there is to build the speakers.

ID has very nice subs, horns, full range... pretty much everything. Hook me up with a pair of their horns. I got a pair of the IDmax 12s... they're pretty rad. Weird ripples at full excursion though. Kinda funny looking.

I wish I had more relatives. The best I can do is buy stuff @cost from dealers, and I don't even have that many GOOD dealers.

Yeah. I used to live in Gardena. All my cousins live in the vicinity.

Anyway, setup is as followed.

One or two of those fitted with ID woofers.

Image Dynamics component 6.5'' system in the front.

The same 6.5'' speakers provided in the component setup for the rear doors.

Kenwood 4x10 in the rear to provide some equalibrium to the ears.

(I understand that pairing these speakers is like pairing honda to lexus, but I cant find anything better.)

Amplifiers are most likely going to be Infinity. The right amount of power will be figured out before I buy them.

Think it will sound clear?

I'd go straight to a HLCD or Chameleon component set up front with nothing in the rear --- if you're worried about the rear, I'd suggest just the simple CX6 driver.

Honestly, I wouldn't throw those Kenwoods into the mix.

I agree.

You would be better getting the HLCD's or Chameleons for the front staging and rear fill, but don't go with the Kenwoods. It's overkill then, and it'll make your imaging sound muddy. Remember, image is everything, haha. Image Dynamics is what I'm going for also. Nothing but good reviews.
