From everything that I have seen regarding ID putting out new products I would not hold my breath. They are known for saying that a new driver is coming out and the timelines come and go. I am not saying it will never happen, I just would not wait.

Have heard these are now available as of the last couple of days.....I believe you can order them through woofersetc.com I'm interested in trying something new....so I might take a chance on them. Has anyone heard any news about these XS components...reviews/thoughts, etc.??

but they are supposedly post production and almost ready to be on the shelves. from what i hear at least.

I heard end of this year for the IDQv3's, so wouldn't surprise me if the XS's came out around the same time.

Called woofersetc. com today, and they're available now. $479 for XS 6.5s I might try calling image dynamics themselves to verify.

One of the guys who tested it said that 1 XS mid was as good as his 2 CXS mids setup. But I heard this a while ago and never heard the speakers personally so iono.

those are some sharp looking x-overs....for the price they better sound ****ing good...wait the picture confuses me?!? it has the x-over coax 6.5 and what looks like a 5x7...is that the way it is suppose to be?

but i want to try the ID horn comps...that'd be something different
