Do you guys think if I was to get 2 of the IDv3's 12" it would out perform my Alpine type R 12's? I am feeding the R's right around 900rms. The v3's are 400rms each. What do you guys think? I want some better sq but still maintain some spl.

I don't feel like reading through all the pages. I don't know if anyone has played around with box specs for these woofers but I was messin around with winisd the other day and according to it, these things have massive imp. rise in a lot of boxes, I still haven't found one suitable to my liking. I think at like 2.5 cubes and 30 hz the impedance at 50 hz was like 50 ohms! no good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

This may hold some merit as I've noticed quite a bit of peaks and valleys in terms of volume, but you really cannot rely on those programs for true measurements.
