Image Dynamics ID8's with passive radiators?

I am thinking about changing my sub set-up, due to the fact that the sa8 is so big. I also kinda somewhat like how my id8 sounded a little better than the sa8. I wanted to try 2 id8's in 1cu/ft with 2 or 3 passive radiators,but i'm not sure what to get or how well they would work.

found these Parts-Express.com:

i would settle running sealed but i think going with passive radiators would gain output.

My question really is, what should i be looking for in a passive radiator?

Would they work in 1cu/ft with 2 ID8's?

They're out of stock. I'd go with something bigger for your PR. Like a pair of 10"ers or a single 15. Diycable.com has some IIRC.

cant fit anything bigger than an 8"

I'd wait until they are in stock. would 3 8's make up if i was to use 2 10's?

they do have a 5.5" mounting depth but run in sealed enclosures 0.3-0.5cu

i'm limited to 4 3/4, i had fit the sa8 which is 5 5/8 and that took some work and still hits the seat. The ID8's are very nice sounding drivers and surpisingly loud for not looking "beefy"

I'll stick with them, thanks for the offer though.

on par SQ wise as an 8W7 and as loud as that SA-8 or DD1508's...added benefit is the small enclosures and large pwer handling, easily twice their rms

i just got a few oldschool amps (http://caraudio.com/forum/amplifiers/469396-oldschool-toys.html) and some old subs and HUs laying around as far as audio... some spools of cable... i think i have some new redtop optimas laying around... got brand new BMX parts... idk im desperate for some decent 8s or 10s

only thing i need is a plate amp and lots of mdf, a router circle jig, and full range drivers. and im already buying all that pretty soon. I might just build a transmission line for the sa8.
