Surprised you missed the drama. Eric Stevens recently announced that his previously silent partner, PowerBass, has forced him out. He, matt and many of the core people are supposedly going to start a new company. Eric still retains rights to the compression horns, I dont know about anything else though.

wow, yea i missed it. too bad pb will drag it down for sure. i will go as far as saying powerbass WAS the best audio company out there dollar for dollar back early to mid 2000's. they had a great price point, backed dealers and great service! they went to ***** though...

yep if you go to imagedynamics.com it was just txt saying what you said. I was almost gonna get some IDs when i saw that i decided to stick with good ol JL... not goin anywhere

here is the scoup, Head engineer and Eric left the company. the .com site was his etc. thats the reason why the wbsite does not work. ID is still operating they are re-building the website. any questions? basically new ownership.

This doesn't change the quality of the products ID currently sells. I would still consider ID equipment if I were in the market for some. Its future developments, both for ID, and w/e new company Eric starts, that will be affected by this situation.
