Just because I don't have 6k post doesn't mean I am new to car audio. And if you knew shit about the v2's you would know that this ****ing problem is extreamly common, So ****ing common they redesigned it.

Hehe, naw I'm really not that mad, just being a hard ***. I'm gonna re cone it to a v3 and that wont happen again. But its just they won't give me a discount or anything, It really is a design flaw, but its out of warranty. So chalk up another loss.

I have honestly never heard about any IDMax having common problems like this. I doubt that is the reason they redesigned them. Whatever you decide to do, just make sure you set the gains right and don't overpower the sub or send it a clipped signal

I love image dynamics they hooked me up with a free recone and even payed shipping. They are a great company with some great products. Sorry you feel this way because you messed up something but I have had no problems with my 2 max's other than me messing up.
