I am trying to install a panasonic cq-dvr909u deck with a qwestar mvs-600 screen into my car. The problem is i can't get the deck to recognize the screen...or maybe vice versa. When i play a dvd in the deck, i can hear the audio fine, but no video. The deck has a little icon that shows when the screen can be used (ie when the brake is on) and I hooked up the parking brake wire to the brake, and i have also tried hooking it to a ground, but the deck still says that the screen can't be used....or it's not recognizing the screen. I've plugged my xbox up to just the screen and everything works fine, there is video and audio, but for some reason, the deck will not work with the screen. Any assistance would be appreciated.
