does anyone have that xbox forums website that had the tutorial for modding an xbox for car use
I second that. My modded Xbox has an 80gb HDD and has over 20 of my games on there and its nice to be able to just take your Xbox and controllers and leave the bag of games at home. I will probably end up modding this on even further to fit in my car but first I'd like to finish my stereo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifModding is perfect for car use because you will never have to put a disc in...
You can mod the older xbox's fine with software. I regularly spoke to the people in the group who released the software mod and it works just as well as a modchip. I also helped mod the channel and help people with any problems they may have had with the software. Which, means its fine for gaming unless you plan on using Xbox Live! as the newest dashboard closes up the software exploits. There are a ton of v1.0-v1.3-4 boxes with the same vulnerbility. However new boxes and updated dash's may need to have hardware exploits but I wouldn't know about newest stuff since that part of the scene has died down quite a bit and I haven't been back since my Xbox only sees and hour or two of play a week. My Xbox can read copied games if I want it to but I choose not to.by modding, i think he means replacing hte chip or something so that it can read copied games and stuff.
