i've been trying to get some info on the Assassin 8. i was thinking about doing 4 8's, going for SQ, SPL isn't as important. i've juste never used AA products before, but heard good things. $45 a piece is a great price too.

i also posted in the other forum about the Sount Splinter 8.

I'm thinking that they are trying to get their products out there and establish a customer base. Get good WOM advertising and attract more customers. Sell the lower end lines at cost for awhile expecting customers to move up to the higher lines (read higher margin for them) at a later date.

I have an order for 4 of the 8s in the works myself. It was between these and the RLis and the price made the decision for me.
