i have a really bad cough and probably a sinus infection... would smoking a cigarette make it worse? I didnt smoke yesterday and only smoked one the day before. Id just smoke one.

I'm not sure if it will make it worse, but it might.

I started smoking for about a year, to maybe half a pack in a day. I stopped smoking the following year, but on occasion I had a cigarette on those stressful days. Weird thing is the next day I developed a sore throat and through out the week started to lose my voice. It's happened quite a few times, so I just quit completely.

So hopefully that doesn't happen in your situation!
