I've had the same shiznit happen to me, you just have to wear your glasses for about 2 weeks to let your eye heal. I slept in my contacts for 5-6 months at a time, then took em out cleaned em one night then put em back in and did it again. I now wear em only like 2-3 weeks at a time. Corneal scratches will make one eye act similar to pink eye. The doc will take u in and put a highlighted solution in ur eye .. put u under a blacklight and u will see the scratches where the highlighted stuff fills in the lines. Goes away if u just stop rubbing or wearing ur contacts for a while to let the eye heal.

Had a similar thing happen. Got something behind my contact that scratched the fck outta my eye. It got to were any light would hurt it so bad I had to keep my eye closed. Ended up goin to the ER....they just gave me some hella drugs and told me to sleep till Monday when I could get into the eye doc.

Went to the eye doc and they put this dialating gel on my eye that kept it dialated for almost 2 weeks and that helped the pain. A few weeks of antibiotics and I was better.

I scratched my cornea in middle school in a baseball game.. sand got in my eye and i rubbed it and OMG it hurt like a biotch. The eye doctor put me on these eye steroids I had to put in my eye like 5 times a day.

I'm using 'Complete Multi-Purpose Solution'. Most of the people I know with contacts use that... so I don't think I have an ulcer.

But, yeah, I went to Walgreens and talked to one of the Pharmacy people and they told me to put a thick lubricating-type eye drop in every now and then and just let it heal.

After I put in some of that stuff, my eye doesn't hurt that much anymore. I guess it made a veil over my eye so that the scratch doesn't get caught on the inside of my skin.

jesus you slept from 2am to 4:30 pm?
I could've slept more if my dckhead brother didn't wake me up. =|

go to an eye doctor...even the ones at wal mart work.

There is nothing at all overthecounter to help with the pain or infection that may occur.

and just hope they don't write u some expensive eye drops like vigamox

take a hit of acid...you'll forget all about it.....
but make sure it's the liquid form and drop it in your eye.

i've had this ish happen to me b4. but the worst thing i ever did was take that cleaning solution that u leave over night in the special case, i put it in my case at night thinkin it was solution, put my contact in the next morning AND HOLY *pu*()p#u*()p(#!!!!! it took me like 30 mins to get that contact out, i'm talkin 30mins of retarded eye pain. i now, keep that cleaner deep in the closet.

but srsly, flush your eye with water or solution and keep ur contact out of that eye, either go out w/ one contact or sport the specs. no point in racking up a big bill when he's probably going to tell u to keep ur contacts out.

Wear your glasses or live with one contact for a few days. Your eye will fix itself within 3-5 days.

This is a pretty common occurrence for contact wearers. It happens when you get dirt or something behind your contact, and you blink a few times. No big deal, just quit putting in your contact and irritating in. With the contact out it shouldnt hurt as much either. Pansy.

keep your contacts out fora few days and see if they pain subsides. I had this problem once as well. When my contacts were in my eyes would get extremely itchy, red and iritated especially my left eye. If i wore my glasses, then i would be fine. So i went to my optometrist and he said my lens case could be dirty or it could be a reaction to the conact lens solution

He gave me a new case and a different brand of solution. After that I did not have any problems or irritation while wearing my lenses.
