I'm over firefox......

I'm sorry to announce, that i'm back to Microsoft Internet Explorer.....

I just installed 7.0, after my curiosity got the best of me, and i hate to admit, i LOVE it........

I was so tired of having to tell it to save, or what to open with every time i clicked a file, since it has a bug where it wont save your preferences......

And IE7 has tabs, and is just as fast. Plus the addition of cleartype, smooth scrolling, and the built in zoom features are tits.

I'm gonna miss my plug-ins, but as for standard browsing, this takes the cake, and makes reading and surfing this forum SO much nicer, and look so much prettier, and easier to read.

Anyone else hooked on this IE7?

firefox has had built in zoom feature from day 1.

in fact, firefox has had all the features of ie 7 + tons since day 1

firefox > IE 7

and it does have zoom, but it works differently.

i have to agree that the new internet explorer is way better than firefox, its faster and just looks and feels better

i like firefox way better than IE. Internet Explorer is to easy for hackers to mess with it thats why theres always patches coming out for it.

Firefox 2.0 is faster than IE 7 on my computer ... and it has smooth scrolling, etc.

i dunno, runs the same on mine.

we'll see. it's been 1 day.

i may sing another tune when the spyware and virus' start stacking up.

never had a single spyware or virus in the year+ i've been using firefox.

i'm more or less just SUPRISED at how easily i relearned IE.

my only real motivation to try it again is because 7.0 final just came out, and internet explorer is always on yor windows based pc, regardless of whether or not you use it, so i figured i may as well try it, since i had to do a full format/reinstall on my computer to get adobe premiere working right.

I had a bunch of conflicting codecs that were creating terrible encoding rates.

i haven't tried opera since the first build way back before firefox was even around

i just remember it wasn't very user friendly, and no commercial plug-ins worked for it

i'll get around to trying it again some day

all i ever use are mouse gestures and tabs.

ie 7 got the tabs, but no gestures, so i'll stick with firefox for now.
