I'm not normally an EMO but....

I'm always sort of happy when i hear someone died with dignity and relatively free of suffering. Maybe im just fukked up.
Not really, if you've seen someone literally get eaten away by cancer for over a year I dont see anything wrong with your thinking. It sucks he died, but he could have hung in there for over a year and been in pure compounding torture, not just him but the entire family as well.

Yup. Or maybe it could last ten-fifteen years and come in the form of dementia or alzheimers

It's weird because I just got told today that someone I knew in high school keeled over, went into cardiac arrest, and died on Friday. He was only 22 years old, 6'6" tall, and worked out a few times a week. From the desciption of how he died, it was probably either an aneurysm or an embolism that did him in. Sadly, someone else I knew who was one of my best friend's best friend died the exact same way, and he was only 27. Go back almost 7 years ago, and I lost my mother to a pulminary embolism and the thing almost happend to both my dad and grandfather except they caught it in time. Most of this stuff comes pretty much out of the blue, but you just gotta keep living and hope it does not happen again too close to home.

That really sucks, prayers and condolences go out to his family. Usually by the time you find out, it's too **** late.

I know people who have been alcoholics (EXTREMELY HEAVY) since they were in 7th grade, and are now approaching 40 and their livers/hearts/other organs are still working (barely, but still) and they're still alive through everything. Then you see good, honest, younger people getting shot down like ducks from all sorts of organ failures. It's ****ed up, but that's how it works //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
